Implementation of Behaviour Supports module 2a
We tailor behaviour support plans designed to help participants with complex behavioural needs. These plans help our participants manage their behaviours in a positive way, whilst reducing the likelihood of them engaging with challenging behaviours and improving their quality of life.
Our behaviour support plans are developed based on each client’s specific set of circumstances. As part of this, we develop a plan by:
- Working in consultation with a behaviour support practitioner
- Listening to our NDIS participant’s family and support network to understand the underlying reasons for their challenging behaviour
- Developing strategies to manage our participant’s behaviours effectively
